CORRELATION OF SOME CHARACTERS CONTRIBUTING TO FODDER YIELD IN SORGHUM

Published on

JOWAR (Sorghum vulgare Pers.) is extensively cultivated in many parts of the country
for fodder. A knowledge of the degree
of the dependence of fodder yield on certain
morphological characters and presence of variability in them will be useful in the
evolution of superior fodder types of
jowar. The present paper deals wIth the
dependence of fodder yield upon height, number of internodes and stalk diameter.
