INHERITANCE OF LEAF AND FLOWER CHARACTERS IN OKRA

ALTHOUGH the mode of inheritance of some of the qualitative characters of leaf and
flower of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench) has been reported by Venkataramani
(1952) and Ustinova (1949), similar information is lacking in literature in respect of
some other qualitative characters. The investigations reported in this paper provide information on some more leaf and flower characters.
