GENETIC DIVERGENCE IN SOYBEAN FOR PHYSIOLOGICAL AND YIELD ATTRIBUTES UNDER RAINFED CONDITION
Main Article Content
Abstract
Forty genotypes of soybean were grouped in nine clusters on the basis of chlorophyll components and seven dusters with respect to yield attributes. The genotypes KO 1/ OS 2, MACS 153 and MACS 189 had distinct identity with respect to chlorophyll components and yield attributes. Crossing between genotypes of the dusters I and IX for chlorophyll components along with carotene content and cluster V (OS 8) as well as cluster VI (KB 38, BR 16) for seed yield and yield attributes is suggested.
