Abstract
Autotetraploids have been produces by colchicine treatment in a colchicine-induced monuecious mutant of mulberry (Morus alba L.) cultivar Kanva-2. The most effective treatment was the treatment of axillary buds with 0.35 and 0.4% colchicine for 12 and 18 h, respectively.
